As a professional performer, composer, and educator, I have been running my music teaching business for over a decade. I teach students of all ages, levels, and musical interests, tailoring lessons to meet individual needs. Whether the focus is on classical guitar performance, chords, pop/rock, jazz, composition, or songwriting, I ensure that each session is engaging and personalised. My lessons can include music theory, improvisation, sight-reading, or preparation for high school exams and university auditions, depending on the student's goals and interests.
I have extensive experience working with young children, teenagers, and adults, ranging from complete beginners to advanced players. I particularly enjoy teaching adult beginners or those returning to music after a break due to life's responsibilities. My teaching philosophy is holistic, focusing on developing well-rounded musicians with skills in listening, reading, improvisation, and analysis. Repertoire is carefully chosen to suit each student’s preferences and abilities, ensuring a balance between enjoyment and challenge.
For younger students, I emphasise developing a strong musical ear by beginning with aural and visual learning before introducing sheet music. My approach to sight-reading combines visual techniques and simple exercises, though I adapt lessons to students focusing exclusively on pop music, where reading may not be required.
Who Am I?
I graduated with Honours in Classical Guitar Performance from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music before relocating to Europe on an artist visa. Later, I completed a Master of Music at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. As a professional performer and composer, I have been featured at a number of international festivals, venues, and public events across Europe, Australia, Asia, and the US.

GROUPS?: Available for up to 2 students: €35/hour or €20/half an hour per person
