Learn Classical/Spanish Guitar or Music Composition Online
As a professional performer, composer, and educator, I have been developing my music teaching business for over a decade, through which I teach a wide range of styles, levels, and ages. Lessons are specifically tailored to meet the needs of each student, whether the focus is on classical guitar performance, chords, pop/rock, jazz, composition, or songwriting. Music theory, improvisation, sight-reading, and preparation for high school exams or University auditions are all options that can be incorporated into lessons.
I have plenty of experience with young children and teenagers as well as adults, from complete beginners to advanced players. I am particularly encouraging of adult beginners or those who may be out of practice due to the time-consuming responsibilities of adulthood. My teaching philosophy is holistic in that I strive to help my students become well-rounded musicians with a range of listening, reading, improvisational, and analytical skills, while carefully selecting repertoire that will cater to the student’s taste as well as their abilities.
In the case of small children, I am happy to help the student develop a musical ear from a young age by firstly teaching aurally and visually before exposing them to sheet music. To teach sight-reading, I use a combination of visual teaching and easy reading tasks, unless the student wishes to focus only on pop music (in which case, reading music is not necessary).
Who Am I?
I graduated with Honours from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music in classical guitar performance and subsequently relocated to Europe with an artist visa, eventually obtaining a Master of Music in composition at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. As a professional performer and composer, I been a featured artist at festivals, concert halls, and public events throughout Europe, Australia, Asia, and the U.S.

HOW MUCH: €50/hour or €25/half an hour (45 and 90-min lessons negotiable)
GROUPS?: Only for a maximum of 2 students, in which case, the rate is €35/hour or €18/half an hour p.p.
